The Circus l Free Game Under Development

After the effort more than two months and surely, with your help in this forum,I could out of this phase of the web game, This is my first experience with the unity game engine, I called it “The Circus”, perhaps, in the future, find the name better than that,
Thanks for you:

game:

New features included in the game:
In the previous version of the game, when the time runs out, whether to win or lose, we find - just - is written by : ( Congratulation) or (Sorry, Try Again) … This of course is not enough, now you can see the new animations come from the Clown at the end of each Match … if clown win (score bigger than highscore) you will find clown dancing, if clown lose (score smaller than highscore) you will find clown angry then wave to people by his hands…
Play it here:
This is the link of the game included new features:

I took a quick look at it, and these were my thoughts on the game bit that you have thus far:
The controls need some definite tweaking or to be reworked altogether. Its (in my opinion) quite difficult. I feel like Im trying to walk around with concrete blocks on my feet, its really hard to turn, and I feel like Im turning a tank when I am.

For a circus themed game, it doesnt FEEL circusy, with the bright colors or just sillyness that would be linked to that atmosphere.
Its quite dark and serious, and the clown kinda reminds me of something out of Are You Afraid Of The Dark for some reason lol… unless that is what you are going for.

Id just do a quick google of references of circuses to get the flavor as to what you would want to incorporate within the atmosphere to make it more circus like.

Things that I think would help:
A countdown before the game starts and then with the GO!, confetti drops with the start of the game and just have it randomly blow here and there during the clown’s runaround.

Different colored lights, and different patterns on the floor from the lights to kinda give a frenzy kinda feel , ie what you see on the floor of gameshows when you are watching them to make them more dramatic, ie Who wants to be a millionaire, look at the smoke and lights that they have, and notice the serious tone and darkness that the lights provide with the atmosphere. Similar here but alternate tone and colors.

Also, I didnt have much of a clue as to what I was supposed to do when the game started, or IF the game even did start when it loaded up; perhaps some sort of announcer voiceover or just a popup dialog with the instructions as to what is the objective, what are the controls, etc.

Great start and would love to see the progress!
Hope this helps!

Honor for me, that you are the first person to comment on the game, you either with me or against me, I have benefited greatly from your notes …

This first thing I was expecting in the comments, bad graphics, it must be that level, I am a programmer, not graphic designer, I hope in the coming days “wish ‘I know’ is hard to achieve” that I find a graphic designer volunteers to make this game much better than that.
Thank you very much for your suggestions, if I did not have carried out a graphic designer, I will try to implement myself, I liked this very proposal:

If you want to pursue the game news:

p.s.Allow me, I will quote your reply of this topic, and put it in the game blog
Thanks again

This is a little interesting to me, I am planning to make a circus-themed game I have been for a few weeks now, but I dont have anyone helping me. Im not sure if the graphics that you have displayed on your blog are final, but I am much more of a graphics artist that a coder. I am currently working on another game now that shouldnt take too much longer, maybe a few weeks, so if you are maybe interested…I COULD POSSIBLY be of some assistance.

Certainly, this is not the graphics final, it’s a group of ready-made free I found on the Internet, only to try to show the game in the form close to the final, but I’m not convinced with these graphics, and I hope that we cooperate together, because I’m coder not artist, if you agree, I’ll pleased

Not a problem, I like to give feedback as far as the graphic portion, I am definitely more of a graphic artist then a programmer, which has had some negative effects on my gaming projects, as they are more in idea form and not making the digital trip into the gaming world yet… very depressing I know.

Its more of project lead that I would like to have better experience with.
Either way, I think my notes are quite helpful, so feel free to post them where you like, just give me a pm on there and I can give you my email and you can email me the link if you wish.

Perhaps I could assist with the project as well, let me know what you think.
I did my best to input and note what I could not only as a gamer, but also to note little attention to detail as best as I could.

I realllly need to get goin with unity…

Either way this whole post is constructive, Please to not take any offense to this; It would be if I were writing code, asked you to look it over and you suggested options that could have cleaned up the code immensely.

This is what I am currently working on its still a work in progress, after I finish it I will try to help with your circus-themed game…Just a sample of the kind of help I can provide…
