ime Custodians - Don’t kill hitler is a roguelike shooter in which you have to stop the third reich from taking over and unleashing the hell portal - by ensuring Hitler is not killed by a time traveling nut.
WASD to move, mouse to aim and hold mouse button to fire (or release to not waste your special gun ammo). Use TAB to preform “time stop” when it fills up. Destroy the crates to pickup special weapons, mana shakes and health shakes. Kill enemies to level up and gain random perks. Cleanse the area of all enemies and head into the portal to advance to the next area. See if you can cleanse the world of the undead army.
Probably way too easy right now because it did change quite abit from my original design. I got a lot of good feeback from the feedback friday’s so I encourage everyone else to join up.
Okay, a day late but I had a lot of work on my own project to do. Anyway, just checked this out.
This has a very cool “feel” to it. The atmospherics are well done. The game plays well. Simple and challenging. Kind of the “easy to play difficult to master” thing. So that is good.
It does seem a little on the overly difficult side but I don’t play many games moving with the WASD keys and shooting with the mouse. I am sure that makes it harder than it would be for those who are used to this kind of control scheme.
The teleporters are cool. I like how I seemed to portal to an infected zone and it had a very different feel to it from the place the game starts. It is very obvious when you clear the area. Overall I think it is a good game.
Some models/sprites needs replacement (teleport, ui skin, blood), but other looks nice. I’m basing only on video, but gameplay with multiple weapons and powerups should be good too. I will play it as soon as possible.
Okay figured out a way of creating animated gifs. You just need to generate a video then go to this site. I guess its stupidly simple but could be useful rather then a boring static image for your steam icons or whatever
