Can it be?
When i want to edit my post, i click on the “edit” button in the lower right of my posts frame. The small edit window appears - and nothing is inside!
Like the edit function isn´t giving m my post to edit… instead i need to rewrite everything…
OR
hit “reply with Quotes” first, copy the reply, hit “edit”, paste the replay, delete the QUOTE marks… and edit the post…
I have the same issue, its a real pain in the ass to edit bigger start posts with this problem as copying the post directly and then pasting results in very bad BBCode so that I must reformat everything from scratch.
The problem is not only with the “edit” button…
It´s with the “Preview post” too 
Seems to be a browser specific issue. Having the same issues in Opera, but everything works fine in Internet Explorer.
Everything seems to be working fine on my end for Google chrome/Mac
I’ve had it happen on and off - reported it a while ago, but then normal behaviour resumed (of course).
I’ve only seen it happen in Chrome PC (also using Firefox Safari PC/Mac), but I guess that doesn’t mean much on it’s own.
Same here, it is quite annoying - most time nothing appears, but sometimes, it will fix itself even though I didn’t change anything and I am using exactly the same browser (Firefox).
This problem still exists… any news about this problem?
It’s a known issue, currently it’s a bug within VB itself that we can’t really fix, we’re looking to see if we can quickly and efficiently patch VB (they have around 300 bug fixes in their new version). But since we are also moving to XenForo, we are weighing up the benefits of doing this rather than waiting a little longer for the new forum software to be implemented.
