About the game
“The Guardians is a fast-paced MOBA game. Choose between three different game-modes, where you can dominate your opponents by defeating them in battle or by controlling shrines and destroying their temple. Use your tribute to learn new special moves to slay your opponents or send them tumbling down the skies.”
The game has been in developement for about 10 weeks (using Unity Free), by students of the University in Skövde, Sweden. It’s current state does not represent the final product and works as a prototype. All feedback is good feedback!
Try it out! If you’re lucky, there might be a server running that you can join, or you can just tell your friends and play with them!
Edit: GAME TIME
Will update here the next time there will be an “OFFICIAL” server up and running. Probably sometime this weekend! If you dont wish to keep checking this forum, you can visit the facebook group, and I will make sure to post there when the uptime is decided! ^^ Facebook Group - Dont forget to like it, if you like it!
Thanks everyone for the kind words! I’m really sorry that you’ve probably not found a server to play on, to try it with other people. I strongly encourage you to play with a friend (or friends) if you want to really experience the game!
The one who hosts has to remember to open port 40092! (Gonna edit my main post about this too)
@wingedfox123, I’m sorry i can’t answer your question. I will however forward it to one of the graphics on my team, unless someone else answers it. (I’m a programmer)
GAME TIME
A server will be up TOMORROW (Thursday) at 18:00 (about 21h from now) in Swedish time (Think its +1 GMT). Press the “Servers” button and look for the game! Hope to see you there!
Allright I’m back from some 3 v 3 action with friends. All I have to say this is the type of game I’d pay money for (and I usually don’t spend money on games). Keep up the good work, this has potential to be very successful
Iv downloaded over 9 times and the file keeps interrupting at approx. [89MB out of 125MB] Assuming it has something to do with the download/storage provider your using, some sort of connectivity error.
I live in USA; and am pretty interested in giving this a try, but it absolutely refuses to download. No matter which browser I try to use [Mozilla Firefox] [Chrome] [Opera].
Perhaps its just me having download problems, If its not to much of a task, would it be possible to upload the 125MB zipped file to a near storage, and file delivery service preferably MEGAUPLOAD… [or Rapidshare]
