Let’s create a place to collect all the best and awesome content made in Unity.
The rule is simple - you point to an app made with Unity (games and not games) and explain why it should be in the list. And I put it to the sticky top post. Then the Business and the Marketing guys come and pick up the projects they like to promote, port to other platforms, use at showcases, etc.
So if you know any Unity content that is
Graphically impressive and/or
Offers unique gameplay and/or
Is revolutionary for an industry.
Than please post about it, give a link to it and it’ll be put to the head post if we like it
As easy as this!

Hi, OK, I’ll give this a shot to start the ball rolling…
My new game, titled ‘Pocket Jets (AR)’ makes innovative/unique use of tracker-free AR, whilst retaining a high level of gameplay (quite a few AR games suffer in terms of gameplay as the AR sometimes makes playing the game awkward rather than better, IMO).
The game is for 4th Gen iOS devices (iPhone4 and iPodTouch4G) and as of today, also available for iPad2 - and it really enhances the game on the larger screen with the AR though the larger ‘window’…
Brief Description:
With POCKET JETS (AR) you take full 360 degree flight-control over a futuristic ‘Gyro-Jet’ as you steer it through the REAL-WORLD environment surrounding YOU! Pocket Jets uses the gyroscope in your device to convincingly and smoothly blend 3D graphics and sound with your camera’s view to deliver a truly immersive experience.
Fly your Jet over YOUR home, around YOUR garden, or in YOUR living room, wherever you are, it’s like you are flying a remote-controlled plane, only bigger and louder.
But that’s not all… because you are not alone in the skies! That’s OK though, your Jet is equipped with advanced weaponry.
Wherever you are, inside or out, POCKET JETS (AR) brings the action to you in a unique experience that is only possible with handheld devices.
USP(s):
• Extends gameplay into real-speace;
• Player has to engage in 2nd person 3D-Dogfight, whilst also tracking their jet, encourages user movement;
That’s cool! RobbieDingo, let’s make a business I’ll issue you a prolonged iOS Pro/Android Pro trial key and you port your awesome game to the Android. Please email me to oleg@unity3d.com if you’re interested in this little deal.
Wow that is some quality stuff! Nice to see things with such high production value being done with Unity.
What worries me abit though is that I have noticed that most games and demos has really bad antialiasing even though it is a high production value. What is the reason for this and if it is on the engine side is it something Unity is adressing? From my perspective you can add as much high end graphical features and bling you want but if there is crawling edges everywhere the overall impression will still suffer greatly.
I pushed some stuff to the top. However the most graphically impressive titles are under the “coming soon” flag. Any released games that blow your mind with stunning graphics?
Not released either, but just stumbled over a thread on polycount.com. Seems amazingly impressive to me :o
Apparently called Crasher - but couldn’t find any more info about it
