The normal of a House roof from blender

Hi all,

I want to make a building in blender and import them to unity. Of course, player can visit the building both from outside and inside.

The question is shall I make the roof normal to outside? Because I saw that, some assets with big building in scene has roof, which can only visible from inside, but not outside. Why the author don’t make the roof visible from outside? For save memory or better for looking from topdown???

Just have the model do both. One plane for the outside, one for the inside.

Will it use more graphic power and let the game become very slow?

A few polys isn’t going to kill anyone’s computer.
