I’ve just downed tools, it’s been a long year. Since April last year I’ve completed 3 games, with The Other Brothers being the biggest of them. I’ve been pulling between 12 hour minimum right up to 18 hours a day, every day. I think I deserve a few nights of rest
I just wanted to share this final moment of finishing a long game with the forum There will be an official announcement and all that by the team. This is just my sigh of relief. I’ll be doing postmortems and all that.
Please feel free to hook up with Simian Squared at GDC - unfortunately due to finishing TOB I could not make it this year but my brother Giuseppe will be at GDC - you can find him at the intel booth / stage or just drop us a line to have a quick play of TOB if you like and a little chat
I think it’s pretty cool how far TOB pushes Unity. Can unity be pushed in 2D? most certainly it can
Congrats, Rob. You must be relieved that you can now relax (also now that there is no more reason for Charlie to point out every single graphical anomaly :p).
Congratulations Unfortunately most people don’t realize how much work goes into a game, the sacrifices developers give to develop a game from idea to shipping it, here in a game developing community we know the toll it takes on a person in every aspect of life and for over coming these problems whilst remaining sane and for that I commend you. And good job for making a great looking game
