I don’t know if you’ve heard of it, but the man who created the beloved Prince of Persia game just released his “journals” about the development of the first Prince of Persia game. I remember this title as one of my favorite games of all time since it was the first “fluid animation” game that I played.
He’s selling it but it has no DRM. According to him, he’s depending on fans and everyone to use the “honor system”.
I think the guy deserves support since in my view he raised the bar in animation and even gameplay back in the day. Prince of Persia is one of those classic games that’s still fun and interesting to play even in its original 2D form.
If that’s too good for your snobbery, then may I suggest you use a more exclusive engine than Unity? Because last I checked it also supports half a dozen platforms.
