The shadows are drawing with some distance from casting object

I’m having some strange effect using a SpotLight with shadows.
It seems to be start drawing the shadow with some distance from the object that cast it.
For example, there’s a table legs (i’ve checked that make contact with ground), the light seems to be drawing the shadow with a separation like can be seen in the picture.
Do you know if this is a commnon issue?
SpotLight with a camera using Deferred Lighting.

Maybe your scaling is tiny. does your table have a height of about 1 unity unit?

Have you tried changing the lights peoperties such as Bias and seeing if anything changes?
