The standard tree leaves are showing a tree stump

I’m trying to create my first tree and when I create some leaves and use the material from the default environment package they look wrong. As you can see in the image every leave shows a tree stump. What am I doing wrong?

Edit: I’m trying to fix this for a a few hours now and I have no idea whats happening. Any help would be highly appreciated!

Try changing the leaf material to something else, then change back to leaves.

I fixed it now, the material I choose was the wrong one. I selected another one that didn’t had the tree stump and then it worked.

Figured that out after making the preview for the materials appear. Before I only had the name list.
