Hi there!
Here will be the dedicated thread for the future kickstarter campaign that will be running in about three months. This is a 3rd person shooter project taking place in a space opera fantasy genre. if you loved star Wars, Lost Planet, Shadowgun then I hope this project will get you excited as well. This project will be developed for OUYA console and TEGRA 3 powered tablets first.
Basically The Terribles is a team of bad guys accepting pretty much every gigs that can get them some money : smuggling, poaching, bounty hunting and accessorily some more official missions like rescuing people, escorting VIPs, taking down places ruled by terrorists etc …
To finish the game you’ll have to complete all the levels and get enough money to open your own “agency” and retire from the action. you’re no longer a pawn of your Boss.
The team will be composed of 6 people 2 humans ( man and woman ) and 4 aliens. the 2 human will be unlocked right at the beginning and the others would be In App purchases. A first level will be available to try out the game and see if player wants to unlock the whole game, or some part of it : new playable characters or new levels with missions.
The money you get completing each mission will allow you to upgrade your weapon ( more ammo, more clips, more damage etc … )and health. The In APP purchases will designed so player don’t have to pay to win but to pay to enjoy more.
Enough said about the game. The development of a first level already started so we’re able to showcase an early demo of the gameplay to start the Kickstarter Campaign. Some few enemies have been modeled, unwrapped rigged and skinned among those 2 have already their animations.
Here is a render of what has been done so far. the next steps will be the creation of the first human male playable character with his animations and a first environment in order to start implementing all this in the Unity engine and start the scripting.
Hope you guys will appreciate what has been done so far and help us out by sharing and giving feed back.
Cheers
