The version of Video tutorials?

Hi,
I am new to Unity and trying to get up and running quickly. I have downloaded the free/basic version which states it has version number 3.4.1
The Video tutorials looks like it is the same interface but the keeps telling that it is Unity version 2.5 ? Is this just an error or are there other tutorials for version 3?
