Hi readers Frank again and this question is something I am asked alot. Is Kendrake an RPG or an MMO? The awnser to that question is both. Kendrake has quests to seek revenge on the evil Kerberous Who killed your father. The RPG factor does not have to be followed quests are optional. The MMO is only 15 people per server for now so things dont lag do to content.
Servers will not randomly be generated for now because of set quests. We may make a single player version down the road but for now servers are all that will be made by individuals who play not by us so yes you can make a private server. Thanks for Reading and Responding.

If your combat system is realtime as you say on the page, how does hit detection work, is it client-side or server side?
If it takes 300ms to swing my sword and hit an opponent, yet my ping and my opponents pings to the server are 200ms each, giving a total of 400ms, and my opponent only raises his shield to block my attack 350ms from when I started swinging, it will register a hit on my side, yet on my opponents site it will register a block. I would be interested to hear how you solve these challenges.
client side will make it a it more susseptable to cheating but provides less lag
for know we are working on singplayer issues with exact collision detection then we will get to multi player
