I was having a look through JCar for Iphone. I want to convert the first person car control into third person. I tried attaching The “followcar” script from the noniphone JCar to the main camera and removed the main camera which was a child of the car and put it outside. But it didnt work.
Does anything extra need to be done for third person control of the car?
Is there anything different between your third person system and the first person system other than the position of the camera?
I’d start off by simply moving the camera behind the car and keeping it parented. Make also sure, that “Culling Mask” setting of your camera does include the car, otherwise you might not see it.
Thanks guys. The culling mask didn’t have car in it. Now third person woohoo!
