Tile-A-Dungeon Sewer Kit Released

Hi everyone,

I have completed and released a superb new asset pack.
It has received 2 major contents updates already and is now polished.

  • With the unique, large-tile system you will easily build large dungeons in no time.
  • 1 x 2048 Atlas texture to lower draw-calls.
  • Mobile Desktop All-in-One, not going to sell you virtually the same data twice, with the 6m x 6m tiles recommended for Mobile and the 10m x 10m tiles for Desktop use. This is not a hard and fast rule, there is just less geometry that loads to run lighter, your Mobile device might be cool with the larger 10m x 10m tiles.
  • Seamlessly blend with Unity Terrain so that you can mix and add with any current game
  • For Top-Down FPS gameplay.
  • the WebDemo level is included in the Asset pack, so you have a testing ground ready to use for your game ideas

Have sound ready for I have added awesome ambient and environmental sound tracks.

Looks good, I like the environments you created.

Good work OP.

Hi,

Glad you like it, I wanted a rundown, water damaged and old broken look that is in general what old Sewers would be looking like
Together with the fact that the whole asset pack reads of one texture map only will give very good performance when using functions such as mesh combine, static batching and baked light maps

Lights are the main draw call generator when tests was done.

Cheers

Hi everyone,

The Tile - A - Dungeon Sewer Kit has already received 1 bug fix and 3 content updates after user requests started to come though
Yip, the pack is complete but user requested contents can be added if it fits the style and theme.
Mail me the requests and let me see if I can add them.

Pop over and check the updated demo scenes for both the Top-Down and the FPS scenes

Change logs below:
v1.1 Minor collider fixes

v1.2 — And Let there be Roofs —

I Have added roof prefabs to all the 10m x 10m tiles.
The tiles each have a version without and a version with the roof prefab added inside of it.
The ones without are for Top-Down use
If you want to test both, but with the same layout and not doing the work twice,
then build with the tiles that include the roofs for the FPS scene, then " Save Scene As " and give it a new name.
On this duplicate scene, just go into each tile prefab, and delete the roof prefab inside each tile prefab.

v1.3 — And Let the Roofs be complete —

I Have added roof prefabs to all the 6m x 6m tiles.
The tiles each have a version witout and a version with the roof prefab added inside of it.
The ones without are for Top-Down use
If you want to test both, but with the same layout and not doing the work twice,
then build with the tiles that include the roofs for the FPS scene, then " Save Scene As " and give it a new name.
On this duplicate scene, just go into each tile prefab, and delete the roof prefab inside each tile prefab.

v1.4 — Arches and Doors —

This is in reaction to user requested meshes and prefabs that they requested.

I have added the Keystones, Completed arches as well as a few stronger looking doors and doors that match these completed arches
The Keystone piece can easily be daade to other parts using vertice snapping to click it into it’s place

Cheers
