tilemaps - prefab and tile issues

I created a custom tile with a prefab attached. I used the tile palette to make the map, and an instance of the prefab was created in the editor. I ran the game and another instance of the prefab was created. When I stopped running the game, a bunch of errors came up - Can’t destroy Transform component of ‘object’. If you want to destroy the game object, please call ‘Destroy’ on the game object instead. Destroying the transform component is not allowed". What am I doing wrong?

Figured it out - if the tile palette window is open, this can create errors with building and even opening the project in unity. Closing the palette window resolved the issue.
