Tileset creation

Hi

I’m new to the 2D tools so I wanted to know if there’s a tool or method used to work with tilesets. So far I’ve seen you can slice a tileset texture and then drag and position these slices individually (with vertext snapping for better precision), is there a better way to do this? something where I can just select a slice and “paint” the scenario?

You’d have to create or buy a tile utility.

I guess I’ll keep using UniTile then (with some manual fixes). I just find kind of nonsensical that Unity releases 2D tools without a proper tileset system.
