Hi all. I’m a Unity noob with a ton of other 3D experience. We’re using Unity to create content for an immersive dome theater.
My question is this. Sometimes when I select an object in the Hierarchy, I can see a control in the Inspector that allows me to control the XY tiling of the texture applied to that object…and sometimes I can’t. Please see attached screen shots. I’m sure I’m doing something basic and dumb here–can anybody help me out? Cheers,
Eric Knisley
Never mind, I figured it out…wow, I really am an idiot.
1- What a big screen you have!
2- What was the answer? Another idiot here
Howdy,
Just click the name of the object in the Inspector and the color/texture attributes, including tiling, will appear. Click the name again to hide it. It’s a good way to manage the real estate, but it lacks the little drop-down arrow used elsewhere in the interface, so it’s easy to miss. Hope that’s helfpul! Cheers,

Thanks
Certainly, it’s quite tricky
To be exact:
“Just click the name of the object in the Inspector”
would be
“Just click the name of the MATERIAL in the Inspector” 8)
