Hi
I have a Boolean value changed from an external sensor.
It works however it sometimes switches from true to false too quickly.
I want to prevent this from happening by introducing some type of time based low pass filter.
ie after changing Boolean start timer
Only allow additional changing after some predefined interval has passed.
You have like 4 other threads related to lowpass filters, and this boolean problems:
Why are you creating multiple different threads? Keep this all together.
Especially since readers can see assistance you already read and get a better idea of what the problem is, and where the problem stands, so they can better assist you.
…
We’ve had this discussion in the past as well. Is there a reason you habitually do this? It makes assisting you very difficult since some people will re-suggest already suggested things. And people will ask for information you’d previously given in a completely different thread.
How is this beneficial to either of you?
And if it’s because you can’t find your original thread. Maybe try turning your profile back on, it contains a link to all threads you’ve created, so you can easily find your history of posts for quick reference. It also means others can too… so they can see and reference information that was previously already discussed in regards to your question since you love to break them up into multiple posts.
It seems like you’re actively taking measures to obfuscate the fact you habitually create threads about the same thing.
…
I say this all especially since you say:
Implementation requires information… information you obfuscate from us.
It makes our giving you assistance more difficult!
And since we do this for FREE… what motivation do we have to offer assistance if you constantly make it difficult to do so?
