Timing with a Particle effect

I’m breaking into particles and having a blast but running into a few road blocks already.

I’m trying to great a single lightning bolt strike that is large and hits the surface, then have the particle emitter wait a few seconds (5-10 seconds lets say) before doing it again.

Can I pull this off through burst? Or is this something I have to script in? I can’t seem to get a solid grasp on duration, delay, lifetime xD Any help or guidance would be appreciated!

Just a big ole ZAP! then it repeats several seconds later.

I have been trying to find an answer for this for about 6 months and still cant figure it out…
