Tips of level design on mobile platformer game?

Actually i am making a mobile platformer runner game.

Any tips on the game design aspect of it?

To tackle the meta design, progression and difficulty curve I suggest you’d have a look SOOMLA LevelUp. It won’t help you layout your visuals and art, but it’ll definitely help you plan the whole framework of different worlds and levels for your game.

Test Test Test, Make the game mechanics and grey block the art, do several “levels” with different assests in them then throw it out at every outlet you can get feedback from, player will say if it is to easy or hard.

If you are looking for artistic design tips about a them, I cant really help :confused:

I’d say look at the level design of the first Mario games. You want the player to learn how to jump? Have an enemy come at them that they need to jump over. Now that they know how to jump you as a game designer can adjust the level to that. Have them jump over a gap that is risk free and allows them to try again, but once they jump over you know they can do it so your next jump can have a hole in the ground that they can die in.
