To download previous alpha?

I was wondering if there is a way to download a previous alpha build?
The archives only content official releases…

Last release are huge pain in the ass, basic features such prefab edition or OnPointerDown aren’t working and it does affect a lot working time.

Previous alpha were more stable.

Thanks!

You can use the forum search to find the has been released posts in the alpha forum:
https://forum.unity.com/search/76681527/?q=has+been+released&t=post&o=date&c[title_only]=1&c[node]=490

… then follow the Installers and release notes available at link you can find in each of these posts, where you can download previous versions.

Oh dear, doing a lot of search on the forum daily to fix a lot of issues for the past 12 years.
If I asked that is because is I simply didn’t find it.

Why not doing it as it always been done the Archive page?

Navigate to Unity Editor Alpha Releases
Navigate to “Archive” tab, right next to Latest Version and Release Notes tab

Wow that is right o_o!!! Thanks!

Would totally love to have that Archive url there then, as mentioned to the top for the Archive related to official release!

Go to the latest alpha page: Unity 2020.2.0a17 and change 2020.2.0a17 into the version you want to download.

Addition: By the way, you can do the same for the beta versions if you need one that is not in the Hub: https://unity3d.com/unity/beta/2020.1.0b15

I personally usually go to older versions from the official beta RSS feed: <![CDATA[Latest Unity Beta Releases]]> but you’d need some RSS reader for this (I just use a browser extension for this).

I’m assuming the reason we don’t see betas and alphas on the regular archive is because Unity wants to keep preview stuff separate. Basically every alpha and beta does have such individual archive page, for example you can find separate archive for 2020.1 betas and alphas.

Well if both Alpha and Beta are available from the Unity HUB on the same page you can download official release, that wouldn’t make any sense. Not even a different install page, its right down, 1cm below.
There is a quote with the link to the archive for official release, then why not adding a single line to the top for the alpha and beta lines with the archive url anyway…
Just saying…

Obliviously a16 > a15 is not even a good idea either.
Now having a bunch of packages error on mac, even deleting the Library dir in case…

Not mentioning google gave nothing.

When you get this kind of problem, deinstall the package and reinstall it. Here “xr.arkit”?

Well if I do so, it started to crash error related to the inapp purchase package.
Now everything runs fine with a16/17. no error logged, then XR + in app purchase are doing what they can do the best.
