I am waiting for my serial get reactivated after unity complaining about it, unity please check your e-mail.
support turnaround normally is about 1-2 days …
did you try to activate it on more than 2 machines (OSX and Windows on the same mac counts as 2 machines too)
Hmm, 4 i think, twice on my windows 7 laptop, twice on my windows 7 workstation, both of these just my normal fresh install habit every couple months and some hardware upgrade on my workstation. I wonder if unity locking based on hardware changes or something else, but locking license into most unlikely frequent hardware upgrade list like (CPU Motherboard) would be easier and more efficient than the current attempt.
Likely based on some specific hw I guess, cause reinstalling on the same machine without major changes (only ram and hdd) never caused problems to me …
They really need to sort this thing out, make it faster and automatic to resolve these kind of hassle, last time i e-mail support, i’ve got the reply in 2 weeks, i really need to start working on my project, been middle of the day here, phoning them is not an option because it’s going to be very expensive from my location and time, tired to pressing F5 on mailbox lol waiting for their mail, oh well a big company always treating customer like a criminal.
Unity is growing their user base but the e-mail support getting worse, at least prioritize paid customer over free one, what is the function on paying then? other than extra awesome features?.
In-case any unity support read this, my support case # 00061980.
It’s been 2 days since sunday, now already afternoon 23/11 on my timezone :(, i am lucky this is my indie project, quite irritating for the wait!.
I’ve contacted the support team about this and it appears they have a backlog of requests that they are ploughing through. They apologise for the delay but they should get back to you soon.
