Hi there,
Has anyone experienced this problem ? (too many heap sections)
From one minute to the other, I’m having this while compiling (sometimes), and almost everytime I try to make a build.
Anyone know how to make this go away ?
Thanks

Same here Vista Home with hw: x64
imported project that was developed on win7 from same computer but now vista…
Hardware Software effected: Vista Home Premium (32bit) HW: AMD (x64) duo core 2.6ghz, 4gb Mem
The 3Gb switch is often used to fix memory problems in 32bit windows environments (increases the program memory allocation).
Enable the 3GB switch on Windows Vista and Windows 7 (32-bit)
• Right-click Command Prompt in the Accessories program group of the Start menu. Click Run as Administrator.
• At the command prompt, enter “bcdedit /set IncreaseUserVa 3072”
• Restart the computer.

This problem occurs because of the desktop heap limitation in Windows Vista or in Windows 7. If you close some windows, and then you try to open other windows, these windows may open. However, this method does not affect the desktop heap limitation.
