Is there a list of Unity-built apps that have made it into the top 50 iOS App Store, or Android Play stores?

How many top #1 Unity-built apps have there been on mobile app stores? What were they?

Are/were in or pretty close, all done by mikamobile and through unity. I’m not sure where shadowgun sits, i think there game Samurai did well as well.

I remember “Killer Bean Unleashed” and “Burn The City” reaching the FEATURED games category on Google Play and staying there for at least a week.

I’ve played several Unity titles recently, but it’s not required to give props to the engine, so … hard to know unless they advertise.

You can use “AppBrain Ad Detector” from Google Play to analyse what ad networks/developer tools are used in the game.

If I recall Bad Piggy was made with Unity. As well Unite 2010 or 2011 has a list in the keynote.

ZombieVille USA 2 was #1 for a couple of weeks on the paid charts. It’s timely halloween release plus Apple feature likely helped it get there.

Guy made LOTS of money on those two weeks. He used to be a bit active around here before that. Not sure if he retired or simply took his huge profits and started working on something bigger, but I’m sure he made enough for most people to retire, being a one man shop.

I dont think he was a 1 man shop I think he worked with his wife. Jack lumber was on the charts for a while but it died pretty quickly.

Unless they divorced, that goes for the same household and likely one bank account so I still call it a 1 man shop. To clear it up, my point is mainly he did not have to split his earnings with team members. Assume he made a million, if it was a 10 man team that would not be enough for anyone to retire (although you would be able to pay a lot towards your mortgage.)

I would consider cliffsy to be a one man shop because he does all the programming and just pays the artists and musicians so he gets to keep all the money he makes.
