Hi.
I’m very new to Unity and right now I’m studiang and testing some code.
At the moment I’m studying the touch chapter and I’m very confused…
I have watched this
Live Training 8th December 2014 - Mobile Development: Space Shooter to Mobile
and this
Live Training 10 Mar 2014 - Mobile Development.
There, instructors have used two different approach to touch: the first based on Event system
and the other on touch class…
So…I can’t understand where/when to use either one method or the other…
Someone could explain me this important thing please?
ok, don’t worry, I will understand by myself, but at the moment I have another struggle:
I have built part of my first game on android and for some unknown reason fps drops from 60/50 to 20/15 if I don’t touch the screen…while I’m touching it ( everywhere) the fps rise to normal.
This happen only on my Galaxy s5 (lollipop, quadcore 2GB ram etc…)and not in the htc evo 3d(kitkat, dual core, 1GB ram…) where the fps are constant on 40/45…
I can’t understand…
Hi and thank you for your attention!
I don’t know which code I could post because I have tens of scripts with hundreds of line of code and I don’t know where the problem could be…
Yesterday I had the opportunity to test my game on a galaxy s3 and the fps were very high! from 55 to over 60! for the entire game time.
At the end I think it is a problem with the galaxy s5 …probably some saving power feature or…I don’t know…
I have tried to set all power saving option but with no result.
Only the very first play after installing brings fps to 55/60, but changing level drops furiously down the fps count.
Has somebody experienced the same issue?
Hi.
Last update:Ihave also tried the game on galaxy s6…60fps stable for all the game!
It is a galaxy s5 problem…my phone:-(
Any idea to pump it to rum games on a decent way?
