i made a double gatling tower and gave it a simple spinning barrels animation and brought it into unity. i had a simple disc shape( just a cylinder ) for my horizontal rotation axis, but its axis were off so i replaced this simple disc in unity with a new cylinder that had the correct axis. But now the animation wont play. I didn’t think that piece would matter, seeings how the animation was all in the barrels…
is there any way to salvage this and get my animation to play?
Just fix the problem in your animator, then re-import
Im god awful at trying to fix axis problems between blender and unity
ill just keep setting up my game before i get into any animations. Im pretty bad at animating anyway.
Just a tip, look at the rotation amounts when you import something. I’m not sure why but sometimes Unity adds rotation directly to the Transform component sometimes instead of the FBX.
