Tracking down editor crashes?

I’ve been getting semi regular editor crashes the last few weeks. My project is quite large (several gigs) and I’ve been removing elements and trying to isolate the cause of the crashes but I haven’t been having any luck.

Does anyone have suggestions for tracking down an editor crash? The relevant bit in the crash log is a generic Windows memory crash so it doesn’t seem very helpful but I thought I’d include it in case anyone has any suggestions. I’ve already submitted a bug report and the machine is otherwise stable and not overheating:

Unity.exe caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)
in module Unity.exe at 0023:0081c5b7.

Same issue here - did you find out the cause or a workaround?
