Trail renderer and time

I’m using the trail renderer to make a trail following a gameobject.

I have the Time value set to 5.

However, after 5 seconds the end of the trail just disappears instead of fading out.

I have set up the Color[0], Color[1] etc, in the inspector to fade out but it just wont.

Any help?

Try attaching a gradient texture to the trail. That works for me.
