Trail renderer doesn’t show anything at all, doesn’t matter if with BakeToMesh or Replicate Properties settings. Also tested with particle materials, unlit, lit, etc.
Im using 0.7.1.
Maybe its a regression? I haven’t tested in previous versions but since in version’s 0.6.3 cahngelog its stated:
" * Cleanup BakeToMesh Particle and Trail meshes when Gameobject set inactive."
Anyone out there with the same problem. I managed to make a trail using a particle system in Bake to Mesh mode, with only 1 particle emitted and a trail setting on. Then I set the position of the particle to be the same as the transform. Basically a trail renderer.
As it seems you’ve discovered, we support trail rendering on particles (in Bake to Mesh mode, using the Trails option), but we do not currently support the TrailRenderer component.
