Trail Renderer rendering problem

Hi,
every time I try to use a trail renderer attached to an object that is performing a closed curved path (like a circle), I always ended up with some glitches in the trails, if I use Alignement: TransformZ, like if the Z axis is affected by a Gimbal lock problem, and suddently the Z axis flips by 180.

Is there a way to get around this?

Hi we don’t have any way around this currently with the built in trail renderer, sorry!

We have the issue reported here already: Unity Issue Tracker - Line Renderer is jaggy when drawing localized circles (line renderer has the same problem because it uses the same code)

Vote on it to get it prioritised :slight_smile:
