Train Tracks Looks Bad In The Distance?

When train tracks are too far away, the graphics become distorted and even “circular” type of shapes can be seen in the distortion. I know there’s a name for this type of 3D visual error, but don’t know the term.

Is there any way to fix this poor looking train track in the distance? The ideal result would be seeing the individual railroad ties as they fade into the distance:

Have you learned about mip maps ? I recommend looking into it

I thought it was mip maps at first, I think you would see this effect on a plane extending into the distance. So I’ve added a plane with the same material, and the distortion is not seen:

You need some form of antialiasing, for example TAA.

But be aware, no AA solution can eliminate this problem entirely.
