Hi all
I am really new to Unity animation and have tried to follow along with Will Goldstone’s animation video and have some success with it.
I have attached a screenshot of my Unity5 workspace and the state machine that I have created.
My problem is that the there is no transition from the DoorOpen to the DoorClose state and no transistion from the DoorClose to the DoorIdle state.
I have the animator showing when I test it and can see the DoorIdle running and then the DoorClose running, but that is where it stops. I have played around with the transition times on the graph, but a little success with it going from open to close, but not back to idle.
The scene involves the player touching a keypad and the door is supposed to open, and then close after a bit.
I don’t seem to be able to set the transition from open to close so that it opens, pauses then closes.
Also the animation on plays once, no matter if the player approaches the keypad again.

Any help would be great. The keypad has a collider on it as well.
