Transparent Graphical Glitch

Hi all,

I have a Unity scene of the thoracic cavity which is encased in a semi-transparent sac. It appears that whenever I view the backside of this object through itself, I get a kind of “cross-hatch” pattern in that area. Has anyone ever seen this before, know what it’s called and/or how to correct the problem?

Haven’t seen that before. Does it still happen if shadows are disabled?
