So I want to be able to chop down the trees, you can import into unity with the terrain package.
I’ve tried this before, where I gave the tree prefab some health, and with a click of a button, I took away some of that health. Everything worked fine with the test tree (The actual prefab of the imported package) but when I then tried to mass place the trees, to make a forest (but still be able to chop down the trees) The scripts did no longer work.
Is this because when you place down trees with the brush, the trees becomes a part of the terrain???
