Unity Tree Creator is a free tool made by Unity and with it you can easily make any tree.

What is Tree Creator Toolkit?

Unfortunately, the Unity Tree Creator does not support URP and HDRP well. Also, its tutorials are old and incomplete. It also does not have good sample trees
Using Tree Creator Toolkit, you can create tree for each pipeline. Also, there are many leaf and trunk textures in this toolkit, as well as a number of sample trees along with video tutorials.

What resources do we need to make a tree?

You need to bake branches and leaves into a single texture to make optimal trees. This texture is called leaf map

How to optimize my tree?
Answer

Simply select your tree root (base) in the inspector and change the LOD Quality value to optimize your tree for mobile platforms
Also you can change LOD Quality option for each bark(branch) separately

Now we are in 2024, but unfortunately, Unity Tree Creator creates atlas textures with size 1024x1024.
This size is suitable for the games of ten years ago. It’s completely blurry

Please change the size of the atlas texture that the tree creator makes to the 4096x4096

I’m sure this can be fixed by changing one line of code in the unity source

What is the solution ? those look very good. I think Unity is paying some attention to the terrain environment system. I do not know who to contact either,

But possibly starting a new thread might bring attention, solely about the trees and map resolutions

Lightmapping Solution

The solution is very easy.
You first create a tree as “branches and leaves”, then you export it to the fbx and use it as a model in the main tree.
Greate result is:

Ahhh okay, makes sense … I missed the " export " as FBX … Then I imagine ? once exported as FBX then one could increases the resolution of the maps … ?

After completing the tree creation, you can manually open diffuse texture (1024x1024) inside Adobe Photoshop and increase texture size to the 4K and replace leaf and trunk textures manually by your hand:) I do this in above screenshots
Or ask from unity to increase the tree creator texture resolution(above post feature request )
