Tree falling trought the terrain

Im making a simple script to cut a tree(tree made with tree editor), everything works right and the tree falls… but it falls trought the terrain.
the tree have a rigid body and mesh collider,and the terrain also have a collider. I already tried all the options on rigid body, changing collider types on the three, and nothing work, the only solution that work is setting to the mesh collider to convex,but i cant use that because it makes a huge collider and the character cant get close to the tree to cut it(not good). anyone have a solution for that??


Use capsule collider.

Adjust the center, height and radius to make sure the collider is not “inside” the terrain.
