Tree leaves and trunks are disconnected.

Hello all,

I’m fairly new to Unity am having difficulty finding any info on my problem. Hopefully someone can help.

Somehow the leaves have become disconnected from the tree trunks. In the image below the leaves are at the original height I placed the trees, but it looks like the trunks
have scaled up larger. I have also attempted to delete and place new trees, but they end up looking the same. See the first image below.

Edit 01: Upon further tinkering I found that if I change “Max Mesh Trees” to “0” in the Terrain Settings, the tree trunks reappear in their original locations, but are partially transparent. (see second image below). This is how I had intended the trees to look, but with the quality of the first image.

The last thing I recall working on was the lightmapping prior to this happening, but I don’t see how that is causing the issue.

Any thoughts are appreciated.
