im currently trying to add a tree that iv made from 3ds max and when i added it to my map normally its fine, however when i try adding it through the trees section of the terrain the model gets rotated flat onto the map. Is there any way to solve this?
any advice?

It`s been a while since I fiddled around with terrain trees now, but try to export your tree from 3dsmax with local y-axis pointing up. That should hopefully solve the problem. If not, feel free to send me the file so I could have a look at it.

thanks for the reply. I tried rotating it but it didn’t make a difference. the thing i find strange though is that the tree model is fine when dragging it into the scene but when i add it using the tree feature on the terrain it rotates itself. Posted the link, hopefully it works since this is the first time iv uploaded to it.
