Trees for the Terrain brushes

Hi

I’m drawing a blank when I add tree prefabs to the terrain tree brush. Add object, no effect.

-No prob. with duplicating.

Are your tree models set up with one mesh and one or two materials, using the Nature->Ambient occlusion shaders?

Are the tree models in a folder named “Ambient-Occlusion”?

If not, they won’t show up on the terrain or will have strange artifacts.

Also, the terrain can be slow to update, and so frequently doing Terrain->Refresh Prototypes can help a bit.
