All trees, inncluding old and speedtree trees look like this but only in one scene. They are always bright. I don’t know why, I tried to change lighting and camera settings.
Hi Avash,
It might be worth taking a look at the Material on the tree, often they will be using Nature > Leafs (of some sort). Try changing the sliders around; if this doesn’t work could you please attach a picture of your Material on the tree?
I moved to a new scene to get forward. It was not about the material.
Nice pug btw.

Were you able to diagnose the issue?
Well great, it appeared again. No.
EDIT: I just realized that changing tree materials doesn’t change the tree. Looks like a bug to me. I also tried different lighting values and copied a directional light from a working scene. My scene simply is rendered wrong.
I hate when basic stuff isn’t working.
The original problem might be just about balance of directional intensity and ambient. I have recently discovered that the old tree system is incredibly buggy and pretty much unusable for making trees. I alredy made a bug report but there seems to be more problems.
If you suspect a bug, please go to Help > Report a Bug…
Once you have done so, please PM me your case ID and I will personally look into it for you. If you already have a case ID, please do the same and I will take a look.
