Tried everything, yet the Rigid Body goes through the Plane, requesting help!

Hey guys, I was working on a small car game demo and I’ve had this problem for a while. As soon as I make my Car a rigid body (so I can add force to it as acceleration) it falls right through the floor. I tried adding colliders to the car and the plane but it doesn’t help…I’ve even tried combinations without logic.

This is also my first time on Unity after watching an interface video so please don’t mind my absolute noobness. I have attached an image which shows the current inspector view of the object (car) and plane (floor). Would be ever greatful for any help and suggestions!


Your car is marked as “trigger”

Turn trigger off, or use a box collider. I don’t know if its just me but sometimes mesh colliders fall through.
