This is a page asking if I want to sign up for this service “verified by Visa”. I didn’t want to sign up for this service but there was no “no thanks” button, so I closed the browser window. Now I seem stuck. Did my payment go through? I didn’t get an email.
This sucks - can’t I just buy Unity iOS without spam getting in the way?
Well I’m gonna assume you tried to pay by Visa.
If it’s the Screen I think it is, your payment doesn’t go through until it is ‘verified by Visa’.
You can’t use your card online at some places without signing up. Or not using a Visa card, but then you’ll just get a ‘verified by MasterCard’ page.
Be happy, they are trying to prevent you from being defrauded.
If they want to force me to use a service they should contact me about it, not blindside me with an “offer” that stinks of the type of spam we all try desperately to avoid.
I guess I’ll have to purchase again and assume the charge doesn’t double.

Visa will usually not allow duplicate charges within a certain timeframe… depending on how long ago you tried this, even if they charged you once it will be declined this time because it is the exact same amount.
