Trouble accessing max speeds in CharacterMotor.js

This has got me really stumped. So I’ve been studying the CharacterMoter.js script to further understand it. In the process I have been unable, for the life of me, to figure out where the code is for max forward, sideways, and backwards speeds is listed. Its clearly visible in the inspector, but it doesn’t seem to be anywhere in the script.

Then if I were to even find it, I’m not entirely sure what I would need to do to access it from a separate script. The tutorial that I’ve been following hasn’t been very clear on the syntax I need.

My ultimate goal is to make an RPG engine that would will alter the CharacterMotor.js as stats are changed and have a separate script for the stats.
