Trouble with the 3d person game tutorial

Hi, I'm new, so I thought I followed the tutorial first on 3rd person platformer. I had trouble with my Lerpz keep falling through the floor eventhough I followed everything in the tutorial. The character controller was there with the right settings and all but my Lerpz keep falling off as if no colldet was ever done.

What did i do wrong?

Move the player object just a little higher. I had trouble with this on lerpz and the robots that if they are directly connected to the floor they slowly fall through, or the robots fall through after they animate.
