Trying to install Unity editor, Editor application says "Install failed: Validation Failed",trying to install editor but editor application keeps saying "Install failed: Validation Failed"

Trying to install the 2021.3.4f1 Unity Editor on my MacBook Pro with visual studio, Mac build support, documentation and editor application. For some reason the editor application says “Install failed: Validation Failed”, while the rest say “install queued”.
As someone using Unity for the first time, to say the least I’m not sure what’s wrong. If possible, may someone explain what’s wrong or how could I verify the editor application?

I had the same issue. I cancelled the download where it showed me it had failed, then instead of clicking on the “Install Editor” button in the middle of the screen, I used the one in the top right hand corner, this gave me the option of choosing between the last three versions, I selected the most up to date one (Recommended). This also gave me the option of installing additional requirements and components such as Microsoft Visual Studio an the APK tools etc for Android (amongst plenty of others).

This then installed correctly for me.
