Has anyone here used Turtle baking extensively within Unity? I want to build a game that has a very sophiticated look by incorporating the look of GI rendering, but I’m not sure if Unity can do that and still keep a game playable, it’s just a lot of pre-baked heavy textures, almost the entire environment probably in some cases, all thrown at the engine at the same time.
Unity can do lightmaps just fine. And it’s actually a lot faster than using in-game lights, because all lighting is precomputed and does not have to be computed each frame.
I kinda prefer 'em fried, but that’s just my taste. If you wrap them up in tin-foil with sauces it can be quite nice though.

Ewwwwww.
Broiled is so much better. That way the heat shadows are so much clearer.
You may have a point… I’ll have to try that this weekend.
