Students:

There Are Also Different Ranks,

Bronze:
This Is For Basic Tutorials, Like The Unity Essentials on the learn page. Every Beginner Should Look at these, they feature basic code, how to use the Editor, and more.

Silver:
This Is The Middle Rank, For People who have learned the basics, but haven’t got to the tricky bit yet. Everyone Who Have Completed Unity Essentials, But Haven’t Done Junior Programming Should Follow These.

Gold:
This Is The Rank For The Hardest Tutorials. Only The People Who Completed Unity Essentials AND Junior Programming could understand this.

I know this is basically Unity Learn, But There is 1 Difference…

…These Tutorials Are FREE, they don’t cost money.

I’m looking forward to your tutorials, I voted!

Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh…

This Site Is For YOU To Post Tutorials, I’m Just A Student

Got it. Yes, the forum doesn’t really work that way. Each thread is specific to one user question or issue. Each tutorial or suggestion would require it’s own thread. And voting doesn’t set the user type, as you’ve seen from my vote (which was the intent). I do appreciate your enthusiasm though, and welcome to Unity!

Thank You, At First I Didn’t Know. I Did The same thing on my other thread (Projects With Community) It Was About Game Ideas And Trying To Make Video games. Maybe Check It Out Sometime?

I Just Changed To Both.

1.0: How To Use Unity:

So, You’re New To Unity, Let Me Tell You The Basics.

1.1: Microgames: LEGO

If You Haven’t Looked At My 1.0, Go To That Now.

Note: Press Play Again, To Stop.

That’s Basically It! In This Lesson, You Learned How To Open A LEGO Project.

1.2: Microgames: 2D Platformer

If You Haven’t Looked At My 1.0, Go To That Now.

That’s It! In This Lesson, You Learned How To Change The Color Of A 2D Sprite.

2.0: Getting To Use 3D

That’s It! In This Lesson, You Learned How To Attach A “Material” to a “GameObject”.

You are going to do “tutorials” about EVERY aspect of unity?
This will be a loooooooong thread.
I agree with making tutorial posts, but make them more specific.
For example how to make a basic AI that follows you (I have made one in other thread).

If I could make a game, any game, I’d want to have it on Xbox, but because I don’t work for a development company I can’t get the license :frowning:

Did you get your basic movement script working? Did you get the book yet that you ordered? How was it?

Got the feeling that this thread will be removed soon…

Not tried it yet, still trying to learn how to create a sprite in GIMP, also, I got an email from Amazon ages ago, that book I ordered’s not out till May.

Not Really, Just The Ones Important For Beginners.

Welp, It Was Fun While It Lasted. :frowning:
