Tutorial Script Error

I am watching a Unity Tutorial for the Space Shooter game, and I’m typing the script exactly as it shows up, and how the instructor says to type it, but the system still gives me “Assets/Scripts/PlayerControl.cs(4,31): error CS8025: Parsing error”

I even tried copying and pasting the exact script code they use in the finished product, and it gives me the same error. This is the scrpit I have:

using UnityEngine;
using System.Collections;

public class PlayerController = MonoBehaviour
{

	void FixedUpdate ()
	{
		float moveHorizontal = Input.GetAxis ("Horizontal");
		float moveVertical = Input.GetAxis ("Vertical");

		Vector3 movement = new Vector3 (moveHorizontal, 0.0f, moveVertical);
	rigidbody.velocity = movement

What exactly is this parsing error, and why is it telling me that even when I use the official script?

Change this

public class PlayerController = MonoBehaviour

to this

public class PlayerController : MonoBehaviour
