TutuApp Have Stolen My Game

Hi

I wrote a game for ios and android back in march. I have had modest downloads with about 1400 unique downloads.

I stumbled across tutu apps today and my game was in there with 136,000 downloads. When I install the app these people have removed my unity ads and put in their own app with some kind of wrapper.

I can only imagine how much ad revenue I have lost does anybody have any experience with these people? can I remove it? What do I do?

Could you provide us with some links?

Fill a DMCA takedown with the various App Stores. If the company is base in the same country, then you can also file a lawsuit. Lawsuits are probably not worth it internationally.

I checked the site whois, they’re in Canada and are using this privacy service.

Registrant Email: tutuapp.vip@contactprivacy.com

You can still contact them via contactprivacy.com and type in their domain.

But before doing this, I would go to a lawyer and pay him to write you a nice legal letter threatening to file a lawsuit if they do not comply and take down your property. Then send that .

How the hell is this app/website even legal? And why hasn’t Google/Apple done anything about them?
https://tutu-app.com/

They are pretty much advertising you can download paid apps for free through their service.

Out of interest, did you build with IL2CPP?

It’s in China. If they somehow managed to shut it down it would simply be replaced with another.

Piracy is mainstream in China. Outside of having it removed from non-China based stores there isn’t anything you can do that will have any lasting effect and even large companies like Microsoft have simply given up trying.
